*Note:  The call must be made from a PD phone and the line utilized to make the call must have a PD voicemail account

Step 1 From a PD extension with a voicemail account, while on a call that you initiated or that you received, do the following;

Step 2 After the call is connected, on the PD phone, press the Confrn softkey to start a conference call.  You may need to press the More softkey to see the Confrn softkey.

Step 3 Dial the live record number, 1050.

Step 4 To join the Connection live recorder with the conference call, press the Confrn softkey again.

Step 5 After the phone conversation is over, hang up the user phone.

Step 6  On the user phone, log on to the voice mailbox for the user.  The recording will also be delivered through email and will have the subject of "Live record message".

Step 7 Listen to the recorded phone conversation.

Step 8 If the audio file is needed then either save it from the voicemail in email that you received or do the following;

  • Enter https://ch-unity01.voip.flagstaffaz.gov/ciscopca/home.do  into the browser address window when on a city computer
  • Enter your computer logon credentials
  • Click on the Web Inbox link
  • Click on the voicemail and you can either click on Forward and forward it to yourself or right click and select Save link as and select where to save the file.
