To set up Skype for Business for the first time, please type “Skype” into the Windows Search bar. 

NOTE: We use “Skype for Business” not “Skype”.


  

 

It will have you log in, but this should be an automatic log in, where your email is already entered in and you shouldn’t need to click anything.

Once you are logged in you will see the following screen (you can also search people's names to find other people that you work with):

From this screen you will be able to initiate chat with your coworkers by double-clicking on their name.

From this chat screen you can also initiate a video call, a phone call, share your screen, or even add more people into a group chat.  

 

This will let you keep in touch will your co-workers even if you are both working remote!
